Who we are

This website is operated by Ossum Inc. ("Ossum", "we", "us"), 7870 Tidewater Drive STE 206-139, Norfolk, VA 23505-3717, United States. Ossum Solutions is a business practice of Ossum Inc., and "Ossum Solutions" is a registered business alias for Ossum Inc. on file with the Virginia State Corporation Commission.

What we collect

This site does not ask you to create an account and does not run advertising or analytics trackers. The one feature that collects information you provide is the appointment scheduler on our Contact page, described under "Booking a consultation" below. Apart from that, we do not collect personal information from visitors browsing this site.

Our hosting provider processes standard server request data — such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL — for the purpose of delivering the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not use that data to build profiles of individual visitors.

Local storage

If you switch between light and dark appearance, that preference is saved in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Information you send us directly

If you email us, we receive the contents of your message along with your email address and anything else you choose to include. We use that information only to respond to you and to carry out any engagement that follows. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Booking a consultation

The Contact page embeds Google's appointment-scheduling tool so you can book a consultation directly. If you use it, the name, email address, and any details you enter go to Google and to us, and are used only to schedule and prepare for that meeting. Google's handling of that information is governed by Google's privacy policy. Using the scheduler is entirely optional — you can email us instead if you would rather not.

Third-party services

This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google receives your IP address and user agent in the normal course of serving the request. See Google's privacy policy for details on how they handle that data.

Links to other sites, including ossum.ai and ossum.tech, are governed by the privacy policies of those sites.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to our processing of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address above and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our data practices change — for example, if we add analytics or another embedded service. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
