How We Work

Most of the risk in a project like this normally sits with you. We have built our model so that it sits with us instead.

What "gainshare" means

Gainshare means our fee comes out of the improvement we create, and not before it exists. We agree with you on how improvement will be measured, we build the solution at our own risk, and we are paid a share of the gain once it shows up in your numbers.

Think of it as a tune-up for your business. A mechanic keeps your car until the bill is paid; we do the opposite. Your business keeps running while we tune it in place, and our fee comes only out of the improvement that tune-up produces — never before it exists.

If the numbers do not move, you do not owe us for the work. We target a four-to-one return — roughly four dollars of value to you for every dollar you pay us. The specific share and the monthly support fee are set per engagement, based on what is actually at stake in your business.

You carry no cost through the first three stages — the fee begins only once the numbers have moved.

01

We Talk

No cost

We sit down and go through how your business actually operates — not how the org chart says it does. Where does work pile up? What gets done twice? What keeps you at the desk after hours? We also draw a line around what is not in scope, so both of us know what we are and are not trying to change.

You decide whether there is anything here worth pursuing.

02

We Agree on the Numbers

No cost

Before anything gets built we agree on the specific measures that define success — hours spent on dispatch, quote turnaround time, jobs per tech per week, whatever genuinely matters in your business. We record where those numbers sit today. That baseline is what everything is judged against later, including our fee.

You approve the baseline and the definition of "done".

03

We Build

No cost yet

We design and build the custom applications, integrations and automations that address what we found. Because we use AI-assisted development, this takes weeks rather than the months a traditional custom-software project would need, and it costs a fraction of what a development shop would quote. You see working software early.

You use it against real work and tell us what is wrong.

04

You Pay From the Gain

Fee begins

We measure against the baseline from step two. If the numbers moved, we are paid a share of the improvement. If they did not, you do not owe us for the build. Our aim is that you realize about four dollars of value for every dollar you pay us.

You decide whether to continue into ongoing support.

05

We Keep It Running

Fixed monthly fee

We operate what we build. A fixed monthly fee covers changes, upgrades, issue resolution, monitoring and proactive maintenance, with a dashboard you can open in a browser to see how the systems are performing. There is no boxed product to warranty — the ongoing relationship is the warranty.

You keep a working system and someone accountable for it.

What We Hold To

No gain, no pain

You do not pay for the build until it has demonstrably improved the numbers we agreed on. This is the whole basis of how we work. It means we only take on engagements we genuinely believe will pay off.

Plain language, always

You will not be handed a deck full of jargon. If we cannot explain what we are building and why it helps in terms that make sense to you, we do not understand it well enough ourselves.

We say no when it is warranted

Not every expensive problem is a software problem. When the real issue is staffing, pricing or demand, we will tell you rather than sell you a system that will not help.

Accountability stays with us

One senior architect owns your engagement end to end — scoping, building and running it. There is no handoff to a junior team and no finger-pointing between vendors.

The first two steps cost you nothing

A conversation and a baseline. If it does not look worth doing after that, we both walk away no worse off.
